We are a multidisciplinary architecture, interior design, and planning firm with extensive experience designing new construction, renovations, additions/alterations, and providing disaster response and recovery services.
Aho Architects specializes in K-12, two-year community college, and four-year university architecture and interior design. We design spaces to improve the learning environment and benefit the community. We have a 97% rate of repeat business among clients in this sector and every college and university we have served has hired us again for multiple projects.
Aho Architects was founded in 2007, and the team has decades of expertise designing commercial, corporate, retail, and similar facilities for clients all over the country. Whether it is a single unique design, or the development and optimization of prototypes to be constructed literally hundreds of times, our experienced team stands ready to serve you.
Aho Architects works with governmental clients at the municipal, county, state, and federal levels. We have served a number of state agencies, and our staff has experience managing projects which have brought multiple government entities together in partnerships.
Aho Architects has expanded its presence in the multi-family housing market with a strategic focus on affordable housing. We view our work in housing as an opportunity to serve individuals, families, and communities by meeting the basic need for shelter while providing a solid, safe sense of place.
We have a proven track record of assisting communities and clients who have experienced disasters. We feel it’s important to align our corporate values with our volunteer work.
Several of our team members are also trained volunteers who specialize in conducting post-disaster damage assessments. We aim to serve clients during difficult times and work to be a reliable partner in helping them navigate the insurance claims process and expedite their recovery. Aho team members keep in touch with state emergency management officials during times of disaster to keep track of situations and reach out where we can.
New Roofs, Windows, HVAC, Finishes, Restrooms, Signage, etc.
They’re not glamorous, but everybody has them: re-roofing, window replacements, HVAC upgrades, restroom renovations, campus signage, and other capital projects. They might be utilitarian but they’re also important and deserve attention.
As relationship-focused and service-oriented architects, we believe we should assist our clients in whatever ways we can. Our expertise in public bidding, capital improvements, and project management means we will be your trusted advisor on these types of projects. We don’t pass on work like this. It is not the sort of work architects usually feature in their portfolios… but then again, we’re not like most architects.
