New Fire Station One
A New Hoover Fire Station One
The City of Hoover | Hoover, Alabama
New Fire Station Design
This new fire station replaces the city's first fire station, built in the early 1960s. The design incorporates the latest in fire station innovations while its exterior reflects the classic Renaissance Revival style of historic fire stations. The brick and limestone aesthetic was inspired by a 1908 station in Brookline, Massachusetts, designed by Freeman, Funk, and Wilcox.
